hello everyone! My name is Penny and I am an honorary cocker spaniel taken in by Cherished Cockers Rescue. Really I am a English springer spaniel but CCR was kind enough to bring me into rescue when they found out that I needed a new home and they had a springer savvy foster home available for me to go and hang out with for a while. This is my before and after pictures, you can see that I was just a diamond in the rough! Let me tell you a little about myself, I am 7 yrs old, spayed and current on all of my vaccines and I am even michrochipped. I am also completely house trained, crate trained, very polite and I know a few commands. I will shake your hand, sit, stay and lay down if you ask me to. I am currently living with a few other dogs and even a cat! I get along well with all of the dogs but I do prefer the ones that are my size, you see, I used to live with a jack russell and my foster mom thinks that he may have picked on me, so that is why little dogs make me a bit nervous, especially if they are bossy! I also prefer bigger children as the little ones sometimes pull my ears and that hurts. When my foster mom took me to the vet I was very well behaved and even liked the car ride. The groomer is also another place that I like, it sure did feel good getting all of that fur cut off!
