hello everyone!! live from Zhuhai!! Julie had her first treatment of stem cells yesterday (sunday), and all went as planned! She is recovering today from the lumbar puncture and iv treatment that was administered. The estimate is that Julie received about 30 million cells. She will be given three more treatments the same way, lumbar as well as iv on the same day!! This will give her a total of 8 treatments! Thought we were getting 12, to be determined later... Zhuhai is a beautiful place! It is the coastal city in China where everyone comes to vacation, or as they say here, "holiday"!! we caught the tail end of it! It would compare to our spring break in the states!! The town has quieted down, the concerts are over, but the south china sea is still across the street calling my name!!
