hello friends and family! i have just launched my fundraising website for my trip to guatemala. in case youve forgotten or havent heard what im doing, i plan on moving down to guatemala in january 2015 for about 5 months and volunteering with a nonprofit called - smallchange4bigchange -. our projects include building chicken coops, teaching english, installing sustainable stoves, a community garden, running a small tienda, and helping with other basic needs. i am humbly asking for financial support for living expenses while I stay with a host family. i know that there are always about twelve different fundraising sites that show up on your newsfeed every day, but just a small donation can go a long way; if each one of my facebook friends donated $4, i would raise enough for my entire trip. so if you feel a little tug in your soul to support me, just think of it as giving up your daily coffee. not that bad, right? if youd like to know more about the organization im working with, there is a video in the description of my website. a HUGE thank you to everyone who has supported me in the planning phase of the trip and for all of the good vibes sent my way. yall rock.
