hello out there! it is 10:30 my time and 7:30 cali time. this is sooo hard to get used to. anyway, today was a terrible travel day . really our first one. we had a pretty good start we went to the golden gate bridge in san francisco and then she decided she wanted to go over the oakland bay bridge. it was great as well as the golden gate, but once we got to oakland, we got lost and spent 2 hours trying to get out of there. we saw berkley university, international cafe st,( everything from japanese, chinese, korean, italian, mexican, hawaiian, french, and yes even a small american cafe) we finally got back on the right track headed for yosamite. on the way there we saw a terrible wreck. a minivan was flipped on its roof and the van was almost flat. I dont know what happened but it looked bad. if you pray, keep them in your thoughts. its no wonder that there arent more accidents the way these crazy people drive. just because they are driving a fancy car, they drive like they own the damn road. anyway, i am rambling. sorry about that. we drove through yosemite and saw el capitan( a huge mountain of solid rock that cant be climbed, two beautiful waterfalls and crystal clear streams. eagles were flying and birds were singing and everything was good. we were exhausted from all the driving we stopped at the first hotel we came to. it is a best western. Im just glad they had a room available. tomorrow will be BETTER! so, gnite everyone and have a perfect tomorrow. love to all!!! the moms
