A Boy Named Jay Let me tell you a story about a boy named jay, son, first off let me tell you he’s real not made up, lets retrace his steps to see how he came up, he’s been all around London city where he’s based on, all his lyrics are his, he made them, he started writing when he was 13 stayed up, late, because he wanted to be the best, he’s naturally talented, like rapping was his fate, trapped in a rap illusion, it was his mind state, his mind was set on his rapping career, working out his future, mapping it clear, recapping each year, of the rap game, just so he knows what he’s up against an know who’s who, and put faces to names, growing up in different places, making it easier to fulfil his aims, trying to answer his own questions, how does he rap? When he never had no lessons, I guess its just a natural blessing, Or an actual test and, He doesn’t know how to pass it, He understands the different levels but doesn’t use contrast s**t, Getting ahead of amateurs, nah, He’s way past it. Let me take you a few years forward, When he was 15 he took it a step higher, Breaking all his borders, No matter what happened to his rap he was always a trier, Building up to respire, jump on the mic and spit manically, Setting the whole place on fire, That’s his dream frantically, But its all just in his head as it seems, One day he wants to make it come true, Asking everyone what should he do, They say “do what you want, its up to you”, But he doesn’t know which path to take, Or which road to choose, Next to nothing he hasn’t got nothing to lose, But he can only rely on himself, No trust in these youths, He don’t lie when he spits its all the truth, All the lines he wrote became his best, And rapped each one with strength and finesse, And emotion but never the less, A new dawn and day awoken, Losing his skill for writing he couldn’t focus, Each line was either lost or broken, He got double crossed but was still outspoken, His rapping is out of this world like he’s a prophecy, chosen. After losing all his raps, He made the up again and got new ones back, these bars were on the next musical level, his bars are suitable but he’s losing it and going mental, his bars are clean, no need for dental surgery, he’s learnt a lot from what and where he’s been, he could care less of what people think, he’s been rapping 2 years straight he’s on the brink, at being the best of his age, and generally the best in the game, he don’t want rest he’s going insane, he don’t care about being rich or getting into fame, he raps because its his favourite hobby, his minds burnt from all the technical rapping, he’s now flavourless but he don’t copy, he’s now repping the hood, slowly spreading like he should, next to the top rappers in the music industry, he’s up with them because he chooses to use his own creativity, but taking over others he don’t do it deliberately, he’s still configuring see, he knows what he’s got to do to move up, he’s telling it all true, cut, to the chase, no longer a stranger face. Yeah now you’ve heard about jay, You know he’s at the start of blind rage, And you know he don’t lie for fame, He’s only trying to find a way, He’s only rising and don’t want to break, He’s keeping his bars thin, He knows he’s on the edge of his rim, He’s not going thick and keeping it thin, He hurried writing as he knew the rap game was losing its grip, An how much I know about his life seems, Like were close, You know why?, Your listening to him, So lets briefly explain my life, through pain I’ve ripe, So started writing love songs at thirteen, Started lurking, For rappers to help him write, Going hard at 14, What an amazing sight, But hitting 15 and getting hard bars written, Now he’s at the top of his game, As a matter of fact every other rapper else’s when he’s spitting, So keep listening to him, Yeah I am jay known as TwoStepz, I’ve grown to live through shed-in, Tears, and learnt to live through my fears. hope you like it! - TSBam
