hey. I am trying an attempt at Anamorphic art. Text/basic shapes along various planes to show 1 consolidated image on a virtual plane. Example enclosed. 3rd Image is the simplistic design for a pilot test I wish to do. Traditionally, its done by projecting a image, tracing contours and hand painting them. If I was to do it this way, what type of Projector would be advisable? My concern is that due to the depth of field, certain areas of projection will be out of focus. If I shift the focus, I believe there would be a lateral shift in the outline. As an end product, I wish it to be perfect at 1 vantage point. Kindly advice. Alternatively, If I was to plan the artwork digitally and print them on large vinyls .... heres what I was trying. I was able to figure that in C4D, you could place an image in transparency channel and make the light work as a projector. and I could render individual surfaces for design guidelines. Which is great. Two questions: 1) What type of Light and settings can mimic the human eye? 2) How can I make it project the image as a planar one? (Basically control the shape and size of mapping) Sorry for the long post and thanks if anybody is able to help.
