hey guys, doing better now. my last surgery went well as you all know, and I no longer have to keep my head down for 45 minutes of every hour. I do still have to sleep face down until this nitrous gas bubble goes away. the only bad news is that this last surgery, kind of moved my lens implant from the first surgery, so Im having double blurry vision, but only in one eye. This means that as soon as Im healed from this surgery, I get to go back and have hopefully my last surgery to straighten out my lens. As long as I have my eyesight when this is over, I will be thrilled!!! I cant wait to be able to drive myself around again, and believe it or not, I cant wait to get back to work. Thanks to all of you for sending me well wishes, bringing me food, sending flowers, renting or loaning me books on tape, and calling or visiting with me to keep me company. A huge thanks to Diane for cleaning my house and being my babysitter for the first week. I couldnt have done it without her. And last but not least, thanks to that husband of mine, who has had to shop for me, worry about me, take me to my doc appts, and put up with my complaining. He has had his hands full.
