hey hey guys :) CALLING ALL MUSICIANS AND SONGWRITERS - LETS TALK. I was thinking about writing music and the whole creative process this evening, how some people seem to find it so easy and bash them out, whilst others find it near impossible - the thing is, writing can be tough as! I for one havent written much at all lately, hell I try, but I give up pretty quickly and brush any ideas off as crap/shit/younameit. And you know what, I genuinely feel like I must be the only one - but I know Im not, and even the best songwriters must have moments like this. So I was thinking, maybe we could share some tips and advice :) I feel like I wrote my best songs when I was about 17 and had my first break up (yawn) but honestly, I wanna write about everything! Friends, beer, rock n roll - the lot. So whats your advice? Lets treat this as a kinda... forum board ;) To show how long its been since I really recorded something I liked, this is a track I wrote (when 17) and I loved how it was going.
