hi everyone. yes it is I, the wandering mom. We, the moms i mean are doing fine. we got to our hotel about 9:30 and hear i am again to bug you.we left oregon about 11 this morning and have been driving since. we are about 32 miles from San Francisco. we are still taking hwy 101 because its more scenic. i would rather see scenery than fall asleep from boredom on the freeway. Anyway, we found bigfoot!...hee hee not really but we saw a 9 foot tall chainsaw carved statue of him along with yoda, E.T., and other weird creatures. we also ran across dinosaur land and they had life size dinos that were made of wood or something. i dont know. we didnt stop. we saw several bald eagles and golden eagles, a couple chipmunks and stuffed bears dressed in fairy tail costumes. what a strange place california is.these things were lifesized and on every street corner! also we saw those wild creatures known as ...surfers! aint no way they would ever get me on one of those little skimpy boards! still having the time of my life. they are under a drought watch here. everything is dry and dying. its so strange how parts of the country is drowning and other parts are in a drought. the temp is 99 degrees so im going back to my room and wait for my supper.
