hi, i had a sponatneous carotid artery dissection while in a headstand in 2010 and a stroke. i had four cat scans with dye, that indicated the dissection was healed, with a small possibly scarred flap, the blood flow is a bit slower on one side but the other side is completely normal. the doctors said no more cat scans. i was given a clean neurological bill of health in 2011. this happened in 2010. do you think i need to have any further tests to the artery. i have no symptoms, no pain, good energy, am perhaps a little too cautious exercising and around my neck.......no med. plan doctor brought it up and said i should have additional diagnostic tests on the artery... just wondering...(also no meds). any feedback appreciated....
