hi loyal fans of the cyber vagrant read collective. here a great review for "Mythopoesis" from Colorado: ".....I actually read it twice in two different ways – the first time, just randomly read chapters in no particular order and the second time, read it like any normal book beginning to end. Each was a different “literary” experience. Of course, it wasn’t until I read it twice that I browsed through the unnecessary explanations in the addendum! It all made sense. My favorite chapter was Dreamscapes for several reasons. First, I have often contemplated the post-death existence at a spiritual and molecular level and while I always fall short of any answers I have frequently envisioned my conscious molecular being soaring through the ends of the universe in a delightful journey of sorts. Of course, you have added the fantasmical flavor of demons, goblins and trolls which can represent anything you want in a past, present or future life. Secondly, I couldn’t help but think what a cool short film this book would make at a Film Festival (Cannes perhaps?) - the violence, the sadness, the naked truth and all the mess life has to offer. Cinematographically parts would be brutal and parts would be beyond beautiful (like the Dreamscapes chapter). Other chapters (actually all chapters) were equally intriguing. Chapter 5 – MIne: As someone who was raised Catholic, I never could find any logical sense or comfort in religion. However, I did find comfort in always wondering and not knowing because there is something fantastic out there – even if it is just a conglomeration of us, our dissipated molecules, our energy, our vibrations. I’ve often thought, if I could experience one thing in my lifetime, it would be witnessing the existence of another life form. Who knows what that would be like and yeah, maybe “they” are already here. Maybe it’s my microbiome – HA! Chapters 2, 4 – Homo Ludens: I know I know. Darth Vader: Wow. Chapter 3 – Solo Sempre Uno: My God how many people do I know that are so lonely in so many ways that even 10,000 friends on Facebook cannot solve! Anyway, just thought I’d pass along some thoughts. Maybe there is something below ZERO and beyond INFINITY and maybe that’s the impossible. The part between ZERO and INFINITY is all consuming in it’s possibilities and I suppose you have to crack the possible before you crack the impossible. Maybe I read too much Scientific American! Thanks for sharing in such a creative way."
