hmmm...this upset me...I understand how being newly introduced into an ecosystem the loggerhead could destroy it (the ecosystem)...but being from around here where i was raised around them, it made me sad that they euthanized it - especially being a fairly large one - it could so easily have gone into a zoo where people are fascinated by these living dinosaurs, or been re-homed in a native habitat area like Texas, Louisiana, etc. Am I the only Texan sympathetic to this poor turtles plight?
