hmmmm....just have to share this with my FB friends... Pet Peeves of a restaurateur... --Not showing up for or calling to cancel a reservation --Lingering at a table long after you are done eating when the shop is slammed and there are no open tables. Not only does the shop rely on rotating tables to make money, so does your server! Not to mention those poor customers sitting up front waiting...on you. (you know who you are) --Going on a site and publicly posting a critical review after only ONE visit. Really? What are people thinking? What if you happened in on a day when one or two boneheads decided to call in? Go at least 3-4 times before you publicly criticize a place. Also, if the shop is less than a year old, be gentle. It is a long difficult process to build a team and get systems in place. Especially in Anchorage, where it seems we have an extreme shortage of professional hospitality workers.
