how about some good news: I went back to work 3 weeks ago but was scheduled to be layed off again as of yesterday. Got there yesterday afternoon and found out my layoff was withdrawn ( YAY ) and even better, as of monday I will be awarded one of the super-seniority jobs. Hard work, but that might get me through at least another month or two (maybe even 3? ) before any more layoffs. Plus, this job pays an extra .35 an hour. Add that to the .75 an hour for working 2nd shift. With the wife not working, that really helps. less than good news: my daughter and her 10 year old have moved in due to some hard times. At 62 years of age, this change takes a bit of getting used to. Ive been kind of set in my ways the past few years, and kind of resemble a grumpy old man. Oh well, so it goes.
