how danel bob deals with a bar bout 3 falls back i had a huge black bear visitor i live about 15 mis. from bear habitant he was eating sunflower seeds i store in metal garbage cans for birds we heard him rolling the can around on the carport i looked out the door and he was calmly devouring my seeds,im not exactly a coward, but i regard highly any thing large enough to rip my arm off and use it for a tooth pick,or kick my brains out, i been told,,in a bear encounter be bold, make noise, dont let him sense fear, so,,,, i decided to be bold, i opened the door jumped way out in the carport yelling and waving my arms,,he never flinched or paused eating,,he just glanced up at me as if to say,ok bud ,,youre next,,i did the smoothest about face ive done since boot camp,and doubletimed back through the door,my hysterically laughing wife was holding open for me,i calmly said hon. when you get your breath would you call the sheriffs office,for me,,i need to change my drawers not long after i checked and two deputies were tightly locked in their car shineing lights thru the windshield,the bear finally wandered off,the debutitys got out holding the door handles,,shined there lights in my eyes and said well we got this under control for you,,we have to go nowwe need to fill out bear reports,,zoooom,,,,,, we are gone.,,,next day i got some larger guns,and decided im not brave at all,,but im not the only one.
