https://pledgie/campaigns/26881 Frankie was discharged from the vets office today (insert happy dance here). He is far from out of the woods, but made significant improvement in his kidney function (he was close to kidney failure earlier this week) after several days of iv fluids and medications. We will know more on Monday if his pancreas and liver enzymes have improved as well. He is very weak and frail, but has spent the day exploring the home of a temp foster and ate a egg and wet food for dinner. He will be transferred to his new foster tomorrow, where he will receive lots of TLC. Thank you so much to his previous foster, Justine Caldera, for being diligent with his care!! Frankie will need follow up vet care over the next couple of weeks. He will need iv fluids twice a week for the next two weeks and we are hoping he is able to continue to make progress.
