Morales (The Philippine Star) | Updated March 15, 2014 - 12:00am MANILA, Philippines - Century Properties Group Inc. is launching a P20-billion mixed-use project in Pampanga this year, marking its first venture outside Metro Manila. The community development will feature mid-rise condominium buildings, office and retail space, and another Paris Hilton-designed beach club, its top official said. “We’re going to launch a project in San Fernando, Pampanga in the middle of the year,” said Century Properties chairman and CEO Jose E.B. Antonio. The Pampanga project will include a residential segment, commercial space, an office building and a convention center, Antonio said. Last year, Century Properties acquired the eight-hectare property from Pampanga-based House of David Realty and Development Corp. Antonio said based on their studies, Pampanga is one of the biggest bases of overseas Filipino workers (OFW). Hence, they are targeting OFW families for their eight- to 12-story condominium projects. Business “Pampanga will become Azure North,” Antonio said, adding it will feature the second beach club of Hollywood celebrity and fashion icon Paris Hilton. On Thursday, the hotel heiress inaugurated the Paris Beach Club, the centerpiece amenity of Azure Urban Resort Residences in Parañaque City. The three-level Paris Beach Club is located near the Azure Beach and is for the exclusive use of Azure residents and guests. “What’s very important is whenever we develop in any location, we bring a certain lifestyle that will benefit our buyers,” Antonio said. For Azure, Antonio said the company expects to sell out all residential units this month. Units in the eight buildings released to the market are already 95-percent sold. Launched in 2010, Azure is a six-hectare beach-inspired condominium project composed of nine residential towers. All towers are named after the world’s most popular beach destinations: Rio, Santorini, St. Tropez, Positano, Miami, Maldives, Maui, Boracay and Bahamas. Reservation sales of Century Properties reached a new record of P24.6 billion last year, up 15 percent from P21.4 billion in 2012. With 28 years in the business of real estate development, marketing and property management, Century Properties has completed more than 20 condominium buildings, transforming 744,576 square meters of space into premier residential and office developments mostly in Metro Manila.
