https://youtube/watch?v=8d3wLZ8eHkE&feature=youtu.be When we begin strength training for the first time, we feel uncomfortable with the fact that we have weaknesses. We want to continue to do things that we are good at, so that we can feel good. Resistance sucks....at first. Once we begin to experience our weak points all the way through Eg. The weak posterior chain or the lack of deep abdominal strength, then we are faced with a choice. Move through the resistance and find that we are stronger than we have ever imagined OR get crushed by it. I choose the former, and frankly I am in love with it. Why? Because it spills into every aspect of my life. Its like the resistance to speaking in public, the resistance to approaching that beautiful woman, the resistance to pursuing your dreams, and/or the resistance to standing up for yourself. It pervades the whole spectrum. Embrace it and experience who you begin to become :).
