https://youtube/watch?v=E9Kwy11BYIE Ive been thinking, what has really gotten me through all of the times that ive been in a struggle, in a rut, more the less in a place that no one ever wants to be. about 6 years ago was rough for me, and i found what it was that released me from the hell i was living in. music. music is the place where i can escape from anything, no matter what it is. ill pic up my acoustic and just play, listen to music and space out, hop on my drumset and just pound away. ive also been thinking about how i got introduced to it, and when i say that i mean introduced to live music. I want to throw a huge thanks to Mike Lachant for having a venue in bennington. he gave us kids a place to go, when we had nowhere to go. knapps was the shit. to another note. I want to thank the person in the video below. I met him at a show at knapps and ill never forget it. i was having a rough night and i felt like he noticed, because as i stood outside and smoked a cig, he walked over and started conversation. he truly showed me how much life actually meant, and how much of a beautiful thing it is, and also he showed me how much music meant, the emotion that can be thrown into it, and the meaning that it has behind it.
