Technology is allowing us to get information in so many ways, but the most important thing of this modern day technology is based on social interaction between teachers and students. Miller discusses the importance of individual learning and engagement, and says that learning happens best in a social environment with other learners and a caring teacher. (Muller, 2014) CID is looking on how to maximize your online learning opportunities--to ensure that each of you are able to get what you need from a caring teacher/mentor who is there to support you through your learning process. Provide structured and guided learning groups where you can learn and grow with your peers. Looking forward to starting in 2015!
