https://youtube/watch?v=HiNcvTCF6jg Im not usually one to broadcast what Im working on over FB, but seen as a lot of exiting things are happening right now then I guess now is the time to start!! lol ..So over the past 7 years of delivering lyric writing workshops to schools, youth clubs etc, I have seen some amazing things and worked with some incredibly inspiring young dudes! Witnessing kids from unspeakable backgrounds using music to create a positive path for themselves is beyond a blessing. From personal experience I believe that music or any form of creativity can be a phenomenal form of expression for anger, insecurity and many other negative feelings. I think its essential that every young person has access to whatever facilities they need in order to develop crucial inventive skills that shape their futures from negative to positive. Having access to this sort of outlet can be VERY difficult to the majority of young people today, and a huge percentage of them would never even know they have talent without such motivational workshops to guide them to their full potential. Because of the lack of this type of support in this country, I have been inspired to found an organisation by the name of ‘Social Soundwaves’. A creative education based service that is focused on developing young peoples creative skills, confidence and social engagement. Social Soundwaves offer the following services... MC/Lyric Writing Workshops. DJ Workshops. Dance Classes. Graffiti Workshops. Beat Production Workshops. Performance Oppertunites. Mentor Support. Traineeships (In association with Randomz) Studio Recording Sessions and more... My goal for this venture is to help guide the younger generation towards brighter futures using creativity as the key to progression. I would be MASSIVELY appreciative if you good people would take a second to SHARE this status/video and help me get the word out to as many young people, youth organisations, schools, colleges etc as possible. It would mean a GREAT deal to me and especially all the young people involved (present and future) with Social Soundwaves.
