https://youtube/watch?v=Ip0uvCHkTF0 How distressing that a group of Christians with a very narrow view of life and its purpose are wrestling against another group of Christians (the guys in Switchfoot) who are merely using their God-given talents and passion to reach people with the Love of Christ. It doesnt make any sense, and probably makes people looking for God shake their heads in disgust. Shouldnt this group of protesters be more concerned with issues like the abysmal divorce rate in the American Church, the rise of a materialistic/ morally relativist society, and the humanitarian crises affecting so many nations right now, than what style of music young people looking for hope are listening to? I think that the controversy over what music Christians can listen to would be very low on Jesus list of priorities for His people. If even one person gets introduced to Christ through going to a Switchfoot concert, I bet He is more excited about it than the whole crowd put together! What are other peoples thoughts on this?
