https://youtube/watch?v=Kr4ieP4fGL4 When we take on a website project we typically break the project into four very specific phases. Strategy: Strategy is probably the most important phase. It includes establishing the website’s objectives, researching the competition, defining the roles, or user demographics, and setting up the blueprint. The blueprint, or what we call the wireframe lays out the navigation and illustrates which calls to actions will be implemented. This phase organizes the entire process. Design: This is where we create the look and feel of the website. We do that in Photoshop so the client can see an image of what the website will look like before we go into the development phase. Creating these “mock ups” gives us the ability to visually customize the site. Development: After the design has been approved we go into the development phase and that’s where we turn those images into an actual website. We build it out in a responsive WordPress framework, we integrate the content and create the site’s functionality. Search Engine Optimization: This phase actually weaves throughout the entire project so that the foundation of the website is designed to succeed in the search engines. The client works with a web strategist on the front end. Then directly with a graphic artist. We have a team of developers and a SEO specialist on staff. Our clients are really getting a specialized, customized experience working with a team of professionals in each specific phase. If you have any questions about our four phase approach to web design and development feel free to give us a call!
