She created the Temple Slaughterhouses we heard about a few years back on Oprah. Ive seen videos of the WRONG way to slaughter animals in bad slaughterhouses which sorely affected my enjoyment of roast beef and ham. But here is the right way to slaughter meat for our food. I am not clear on the laws regarding this in Canada, have to find out more about that. Also I wonder about the shipping of horses from U.S. to Canada since we allow horses to be slaughtered and the U.S. has banned it. Also have to go look that up too. Slowly things are getting better. We need to participate in this process of improvement.
