This song is extremely special, because I was reading and loving comics in the late 60s and early 70s when the teenagers used to play this song at the snack bar at the Bungalo colony where we spent our summers. AND, speaking of Green Lantern, when I was hearing this song and playing pool and pinball, Dennis ONeil and Neal Adams were revolutionizing comics in Green Lantern/Green Arrow, and I was reading and being influenced by this radical stuff and truly groundbreaking art. Outside of the late silver age Captain America, I think Green Lantern/Green Arrow was my first political influence, and a major one it was.
