There is really not a dream world where cows live a happy life and they willingly give us their excess milk because they just have too much for their calf, humans have bred dairy cows to an unhealthy level where they live short lives encumbered by the selectively bred deformities that have made them to the best of mans use. The young are taken from their mothers and the males are shipped off to become veal. This means by buying dairy products or causing them to be bought then you are contributing to all of the above and much more environmental destruction.
