https://youtube/watch?v=O_xu6Q6UOmA This will sum up trajectory of three most used rifle calibers, and just make your calculations if you will be shooting distances lower or shorter as illustrated, all three calibers will shoot straight at 300 yards, ak-47 will have a drop of 20 to 30 inches at 500 yards, AR-15 will still be straight at 500 yards but will have drop from 20 to 40 inches at 700 yards, ..308 will shoot straight at 700 yards and will start dropping from 20 to 50 inches at 1,300 yards.
