https://youtube/watch?v=QDJmBTY4z2c This is (I think) the sort of truncated/edited version of the Stones working up SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL that was a part of Godards ONE PLUS ONE, a somewhat unwatchable (or at least super difficult to follow) political manifesto (which I now think they renamed Sympathy for the Devil.) - A couple of interesting things about this - Brian Jones, I dont think was even plugged in here, but playing away happily. I always heard this is what happened, but seems to be true here. The original lyric read Who killed Kennedy? because in the course of recording this, Bobby was killed and therefore revised (Who killed the Kennedys?) God bless Nicky Hopkins on piano! Another one lost too soon. If you ever have a chance to hear THE TIN MAN WAS A DREAMER...please do. The OO OOs were performed by anyone that happened to be hanging around, as I recall. Marianne Faithfull is there, I believe, too. Can you imagine an environment less conducive to creativity than this place? Makes LET IT BE studios look homey. Yep, Keith on bass.
