Indeed, as they say in the trailer, there arent many movies quite like this one, if any. Its so simple and so complex at the same time, its real and directed at the same time. Truly, if you consider yourself a cinematography addict, this is one you need to see, if anything, for the sheer uniqueness of the project. Boyhood has the qualities of something we will soon remember as a classic. Emotional, yet so subtle, and you never for a second feel as if youre watching something directed and acted. Youre immersed the minute you allow yourself to be. It feels like a story of real humans, and in a way - it is. The actors literally grow into the roles so beautifully, so that no character is left flat or unexplored. I have to say, it really does make you look at your life and life in general in a broader light. Not for the avid action-big-block-buster enthusiast - This movie is an experience.
