But don’t fret, you have still got time to go to toronto2015.org/youth-summit and apply. You’re eligible to apply if you’re: a) an Ontario resident b) will be between the ages of 16 and 24 as of January 1, 2015 c) are available on March 21 and 22 of 2015 and d) are interested in community building So, if you fit the bill, send that application now! If you want a reason besides “because Zach told me to,” then listen up. The Toronto 2015 Youth Summit that is taking place on March 21 and 22 at the Eaton Chelsea Toronto is part of TO2015’s Building Legacies youth engagement program, and is also going to be the best time of your life. Over the two days you’re going to have opportunities for personal growth and development and networking as you help build stronger communities - rich in sport, arts and culture - across Ontario. How, you ask? During the summit youth delegates will participate in activations located in the Toronto area, activations that will help build and strengthen the community, and that’s not even the best part. By participating in the activations, delegates will learn tangible skills that they can take back to their own regions to strengthen and build community there. That’s awesome. But wait, there’s more. This event is going to be motivational and inspirational beyond belief. Along with meeting, collaborating and exchanging ideas with passionate youth from across the province, summit attendees are going to be treated to phenomenal keynote speakers. Heck yeah, sign me up. You might be asking how much this is going to cost you. The answer is (drumroll please) nothing. That’s right, the summit is free. If you like eating, we will feed you. If you’re a distance from Toronto, we will arrange some transportation for you so you don’t have to drive quite as far and will provide a room in the hotel for you to spend the night.
