I have notice little negative clip/comments about Islam on movies: Its pathetic that America has gone so deep in their maniacal hate for Islam that they glorify historically certified genocidal maniacs and concoct ludicrous stories about them saving the day by destroying the Muslims. The upcoming film Dracula Untold takes a bold step I have not seen yet in using the word evil directly to state that the Muslims were just that, and --get this!-- Dracula was a good guy who became a monster to fight evil. What poppycock. I use that word to spare you the reference to bulls and their excrement. Around 4 years ago, I heavily researched and wrote a wildly popular article on SuhaibWebb about the real historical Vlad Țepeș, known in fiction as Dracula, and how his own brother, Radu, with the help of their childhood friend, Sultan Mehmet II the Conqueror (Fatih), hunted him down, wiped out his army, and cut off his head. suhaibwebb/islam-studies/history/how-the-muslims-killed-dracula/ I was approached by a few people wanting to make a screenplay off of this historically sound portrayal of the otherwise fictional Dracula. There was a lot of talk but in the end nothing materialized. You will hear this complaint amongst Muslims in the film industry a whole lot. Well, when you snooze, you lose and it seems, in this case, weve lost to an even bigger loser. Leave it to Hollywood to make a laughably ridiculous movie that has Vlad Țepeș turning into a swarm of bats wiping out a Muslim army with the absurd tag line Sometimes to fight evil you have to become a monster. Aside from the utter stupidity of it, theres a prejudicial Islamophobic agenda. The theme is that you have to compromise all that is good and disregard all your morals and ethics, you have to become a monster, in order to fight the advance of true evil: The worlds fastest growing religion, Islam. This started with 300, a film also by Legendary that spuriously portrayed historically Europoid Persians as swarthy Arabs with curved swords, and portrayed the historically dark skinned Mediterranean stock Greeks as U.S. Marines looking like Vikings chanting Hooah! The only way we are going to stop this propaganda against Muslims, is by NOT sitting on plans to engage in film and media, but to pursue it with haste and skill. Otherwise, your stories will be told by those who hate you the most. Mark my words, my friends. And this is the stupid forthcoming film Dracula Untold which, alas, should have remained untold:
