Rocks in My Pockets is a story of mystery and redemption. The film is based on true events involving Signe Baumane and the women of her Latvian family’s battles with madness. Stigma, DNA and dysfunctional family dynamic all play a role in this eerie animated portrait of suicide, madness and holding onto mental health. Its a dark comedy, an accident you cant help watch. You know people like the tragic characters in this film. Good luck shaking this one. It sticks to your bones.
