So I dont mean to offend anyone by seeming to defame their heartfelt religious convictions, BUT........: I wonder if any alien civilizations also have mythologically-oriented fronts for *their* home star/stars celebrations (think-jesus was the son and just coincidentally (seems a bit credulous to take this at face value, even as an an atheist-no contradiction here as my theory does not hinge on an invocation of the supernatural/metaphysical, though Ill grant it does require a bit more conjecture than most scientists would probably want to be publicly associated with) its the annual start of the *sUn*s nearing to Earth. Also Easter was apparently set up based on the spring equinox-perhaps the purported divine rebirth of the-by most accounts indeed **very noble*-man, Jesus of Nazareth* is symbolic, a subtle anthropomorphization/personification of/allegory for the start of the second half of the nearing phase of the precession. Im trying to think how the Christian triune conception of god would fit into this-obviously got the son covered but what astronomical/cosmological objects/phenomenon would the holy spirit and father poetically represent.......I qualify all this by saying I dont *believe* this *gnostically* but certainly enough to actually research it in the future. I imagine X-tian apologists like CS Lewis have already given what they present as thorough refutations of this idea, but I havent read such dissertations-perhaps i will look into this too. In conclusion in a deliciously ironic way mainstream Christianity may have started as pantheism and continue to use some of the ideas, albeit slightly veiled. Personally I think straight up paganism/pantheism makes more sense, is more rational and honorable-no shame, no hell and there is undeniable *scientific* proof that the *sUn* gives us life;) ) Perhaps intelligent, critical-thinking alien youth are wondering the same in reverse!;) Now let those among you who love the raw beauty of ambient music as much as I do BASK *jabs you with elbow and winks* in the brilliant art of Stellardrone-this track I have called a pantheists hymn.
