https://youtube/watch?v=vIQuIYocjow Close your eyes is HARD-CORE’s latest work. An imaginative exhibition constructed out of hypothetical scenarios. A transcendental pathway is being marked out to guide you on a journey through your own, and external, imaginary restrains. Close your eyes is enriched with the royalty free music of Kevin MacLeod. Gratefully we included the following songs by Kevin: Broken Reality Carefree Dream Culture Enchanted Journey Finding Movement Gonna Start Heart of Nowhere Music for Manatees Nu Flute Peaceful Desolation Perspectives Porch Swing Days Promises to Keep Reawakening Virtutes Vocis Wallpaper White Lotus Since 2011 HARD-CORE functions as an artist-magnet, attempting to organize and attract as many possible forces from all sides of the artistic field. Where opinions most often clash and repulse each other, discourse is being activated to reach for a multi-perspective. Multiperspective is a collective state where thought happens collaboratively. A single object approached simultaneously from multiple angles. In the past HARD-CORE has divided its tasks in three different segments. 1st is the development of the intense discussion platform, called ‘HARD-CORE sessions’ which puts a certain work or topic in the centre of attention for about two hours. 2nd is the development of algorithmic curatorial methods that manifests itself in the form of robotic and web based tool boxes. 3rd and the newest part of HARD-CORE, is the development of collaborated speeches, presentations and lectures representing HARD-CORE as an individual and external entity managing the magnet as an organism. Recent exhibitions and lectures of HARD-CORE include: The Universal Blob, video-lecture at Lost&Found (Amsterdam, NL), IS IT ART OR IS IT JUST (BWA Zielona Góra, PL), Logic if you want Human if you like (Alpineum Produzentengalerie, Luzern, CH), Calculated Sustainability Without Decisions (Sjávarklasinn, Reykjavík, IS) and Almost Surely Not What You Want, (Boetzelaer|Nispen /Forward, Amsterdam, NL) For more information go to: the-hard-core.eu caesuur.nu
