This is our annual tribute to the six fabulous series again, to honor the newest title released in the DC series. Of course, this isnt any ordinary tribute to the series this time, this is a very important tribute to these series this time because some of the series are celebrating anniversary dates around this time of the year. Now, these series Im talking about are the Walt Disney Classics, Walt Disney Masterpiece Collection, Limited Issues, Walt Disney Gold Classic Collection, Platinum Series, and the current Diamond Collection. First, we have the first and most important series for you all, which are the Classics series. Its the series I refer to as the king of all videos series. These series were first launched on December 4th, 1984, and lasted all the way up until March 4th, 1994. These are an important series because they saw several animated films that were available on home video for the first time ever. As a result, this is what got Disney to release their films on home video for all of us to enjoy for many years to come. This is also important because this is the 30th anniversary of the series, which is a big milestone here, for a series we kids from both my generation of growing up and kids raised in the 80s remember very much has now been around for this long now. Shown here are the four logos they used in the series, in which one of them had turned 25 a week ago today. So, were looking at a big week for these series, and were here to honor them here.
