Every year just before the onset of winters on one of the worlds most treacherous and yet euphorically beautiful Himalayan mountains, HASTPA organizes MTB Himalaya. It has been doing so since 2005 and has been the first of its kind. MTB Himalaya 2012 presented me with a unique opportunity to try my hands, legs, body mind and soul at being a one man film crew. Armed with a Canon 7D a bunch of basic lenses, a photography tripod and a homemade 4ft JIB, I set out to the Himalayas for the very first time in my life. The film Meeting Mountains is the story of a personal journey that everyone undertakes and how meeting mountains on the way makes it easier on the eyes and on the mind.
