huudaverti are super excited to have an amazing artist and long time friend, Beck Jobson, design and make some jewellery pieces to complement our collection for our show in New York. You can read all about this talented lady below and check out her blog. Australian designer Beck Jobson is a self-described pattern addict, textile fanatic and colour obsessive. Her work is largely process driven with a focus on traditional and experimental handcraft techniques applied across multiple media. She takes aesthetic cues from talismanic folk ornamentation, popular culture and contemporary craft practice translating them into original one off and limited edition wearable works in her Melbourne studio. When not busy making stuff Beck can be found at Craft Victoria promoting, developing and educating other designers and craftspeople; digging around in vintage shops, writing about Craft on the blog handmadelife, and playing dress ups with her two small boys and dog.
