i Friends, Im an SRCC alumnus. I face a major challenge that I would like to talk about. EduMentor is a Test Preparation company started 6 years back for undergraduate entrance exams like BBA/ LAW/ BMS. In the last 6 years however I have seen Aptitude Preparation becoming a torture. - Too many formulas, too little logic. - Mathematics being taught like GK. - 1000’s of students dropping out of preparation in less than 1 month. Look around you, How many commerce students are studying at top B-Schools like IIM A, B, C? When was the last time a commerce student topped CAT? Aptitude preparation used to be fun. Now however all these coaching institutes sell magical formulas that try to replace common sense.This situation needs to be changed. These students need to be look after. With all my hope I am writing to you. We are looking for great people to contribute as FACULTY/ TRAINER People who can teach aptitude subjects through common sense. Allow students to explore concepts with their own curiosity. Subjects: Quantitative Aptitude & Logical Reasoning Verbal Ability General Awareness Duration: March- May 2014 (2 to 3 months project) The project is suitable for people who are a) B-School Alumni who are free on weekends. b) Aspirants of Civil Services/ MBA c) Working professionals on a career break. And for all those people who don’t fit into any category but would like to bring a change in the classical approach to aptitude development. We would need your help.
