i am tiring of the cultural programming and media strategy of creating fake scandals to feel indignated about (#gauchogate) in order to avoid dealing with real issues that make us feel helpless, angry, frustrated and feel guilty. dear german and other friends where is your vocal indignation and engagement when people are murdered, their homes demolished, their family bleeding to death in their arms, when people are killed by starvation due to fake scarcity and toxic waste, killed by cia trained men thinly veiled as islamists, by arms your country exported and living in inhumane conditions your goverments and corporations instigate and keep up??? you want to talk about a nations guilt, nationalism that is ugly and lethal? why go back 70 years and guilt trip generations who have no guilt on their hands while generously ignoring the genocides happening in your days? can you see the hypocrisy and ugliness of your fake little scandal now? point your anger where it is appropriate and use that energy to be part of the desperately needed change of the real gruesomeness of our times instead! thank you!
