i am very saddened and disturbed by the loss of innocent life and the destruction of homes and infrastructure in Gaza during this last terrible war. My deep hope is that this current truce and negotiations will blossom into a lasting peace for both Gazans and Israelis where Israel will be free from the threat of rockets and missiles and terrorist tunnel infiltrations from Hamas and other terrorist organizations in Gaza, and that the Gazans will be free of the blockade and Hamas and its ruthless and bloody obsession to destroy Israel.
