i especially like what he says about riding in primary position to prevent a car from passing where it may be dangerous to the cyclist, the motorist or oncoming traffic. i prefer to ride in primary position because i can maneuver right or left in my lane as conditions dictate. such conditions may include potholes, glass/debris in the road, a small furry creature about to run out in the road, a parked car that poses the threat of being doored..... in the case of a car approaching from behind i will always move to the right when i can safely do so.
