i had an epiphany. i don’t think about my movements when i am moving/dancing just like how butterflies don’t think about their flight as they soar. this is not to be confused with awareness. i am sure that butterflies are aware of their surroundings … just like i am. and sometimes if you’re lucky we’ll land right in your life, maybe on your hand or your heart, and will dance for/with/on you. however, don’t assume or expect us to do so. don’t assume you have the power to force because you don’t. there is intelligence in the universe(s) and it’s called consciousness. the worse mistake you can make is to assume that we are here or there for your entertainment. our movements represent true spirituality. it’s colorful, undeniable, different, special, precious, enviable, tender and divine. we are transformers and are the messengers of gods, goddesses, ancestors, nature and much more. we understand the rhythm of life because we are indeed the rhythm of life … and death. our movement(s) relay stories of everything in between. we are spirit dancers; physical artists who heal the soul. we are free. you can join us but we don’t need your choreography. xoxo brohogany aka black butterfly
