i hate drama but let me be an emo (just for tonight). i am a very private person but let me share this painful part of muuu life. i once met someone who sang me this song in a small karaoke bar at mactan. that rainy evening was our last goodbye. BS right love at the wrong time. we both cried as he sang me this song. things were too complicated and we had to let go of each other. almost 2 years. no communication. no news. no whereabouts. i moved on and he probably did. i remember those nights below the marcelo fernan bridge. the sea-side plaza became our favorite dating spot. i remember the waves. the city lights. the stars. the crisp cold air. your warm whisper. my stares. our holding hands. we used to talk about our dreams under the moonlit sky. of me climbing mt. apo and of you touching snow. we were so in love. we were so hopeful. we lived a simple life. and as cliche as it has been, nothing is forever. we had to go separate ways. our goodbye was even a tough one. it was bitter. painful. mean. it ended with a quarrel then you sang me this barry marrilow song and disappeared. i deleted my fb, threw my sim, and tore my directory. you also deactivated your fb and vanished like a ghost. 2 years.. almost 2 years and this song. i heard this song tonight. it reminded me of how we used to be and of what we have become and the lyrics, i dont wanna take it literal. you probably meant it but i dunno. i cant leave my heart for chance. i shouldnt hope. these are all but empty words. it is suicide to fall for this sorrowful pit. ours wasnt love. there cant be right love at the wrong time. if its truly the right love, the time will be right for us aswell. how i wish there was a better ending but we cant go back time. i have to move on. damn this song! it made me such an emo today.
