i have a complex prayer request. i have a good friend, rob, who is a devout atheist and who carries a lot of anger toward God. i gather he was terribly mistreated throughout life by Christians. so theres that. also, he is reaching out for prayer right now, no matter how uncomfortable it is for him to do, because he wants to pull out all the stops in helping a good friend of his. her name is rose and today she lost a son in a car accident (drunk driver) and the rest of the family is in the ICU, barely hanging on. she also has some mental health concerns and he is afraid of how she will/wont handle this. so im begging, on robs behalf, that we all show up for him. and for rose. and her family. here is what im praying: God, please save Rose. please dont let her fall into a hole so deep she cant find her way out. please be big and bold in Your rescuing her right now. pick her up and keep her in Your arms. be strong for her now since she definitely cant be for herself in this moment. please, God, save her, hold her, love her loudly. dont let other dark voices in her head be louder than Your loving, gentle one. and please, please hold the whole family as they struggle to find the surface. Thank You. Amen thanks, guys!!
