i have an issue with the Hanover AMF lanes. Me and Jeremy Ryan Packard paid for a 2 hour bowl which was 32.00 we bowled for about 30 minutes and we went to go get a drink. we handed the clerk a $50.00 bill and the total 3.68 the clerk didnt pay attention to the bill we handed him..he rung it up as a 10.00 bill only trying to give us 6.32 for change we stated change was wrong and we had handed him the larger bill..he studdered waited a few minutes then called someone for help saying he messed up the clerk stated i would need to take the register and count it and if it comes back over youll get your change if not youll get what i handed you so we waited. an hour goes by we havent heard anything still havnt recieved a penny the end of our bowling time goes by still nothing. we went to a manager and he counted it saying we were correct we did in fact hand the 50.00 dollar bill. he gave us the correct change. we only used 30 mins of our 2 hour bowling time because we were waiting on the representatives to fix the issue that THEY messed up. we asked the manager can we have some sort of refund or a 2 hour credit since we didnt get the original time. he went back in the back and came out with a $5.00 off coupon for the next time we bowl and said this is the best we can do but im sorry guys we are just really busy so things like this happen especially if its busy i find this an unacceptable answer. you cannot blame incompetence due to being busy. you should ALWAYS look at what cash is being handed over. being busy is no excuse for mistaking a 50 for a 10. we will not have a use for the 5.00 off coupon as we will not be returning to the center. I only send this message so that it doesnt happen again to a future customer and have the MANAGER of the center to blame it on being busy.
