i have been thinking about this for a while. we as parents bring our kids up to make them think lying is ok. that is hypocritical. we tell them there is a santa claus. when in REALITY there is not. now some people wont like what im saying but honestly i dont care. now think about it when our kids lie to us or in general to anyone they are automatically going to be punished and told they are bad. well guess what from a young age we taught them that it was ok. so next time your kid lies to you dont punish them cause you were the cause of them lying in the first place. i started that myself, im not innocent either. but i will not keep telling my kids a lie and bringing there hopes up and than crushing there hearts later on doown the road. maybe not every parent in the world does this but 99 percent do. we are the reason our kids are the way they are. so think about that next time they lie
