i have to share this one - have known so many through the years that could be telling this story...........its funny how we always think its about winning the race, when its really just about finishing..........how do we finish? at the expense of relationships? or other peoples feelings? or losing the best part of ourself along the way? or giving our friends/peers the best part of our day/lives and giving whatever is leftover to our loved ones? sometimes describes what we give back to God, hmmm? his words obviously touched a lot of these kiddos - wish there were motivational speakers like this at every school constantly - our children need to hear from those who thought they were all big and bad and had that moment of reality touch their hearts...........maybe they too can get it before its too late!
