i.imgur/pqMv4.jpg This picture comes from about two years ago, when both the government and the Coalition voting against a Greens amendment to the bill that would have limited mandatory detention to 12 months (instead of keeping it indefinitely). Brandt and Wilkie were the only two to support the bill. Indefinite mandatory detention has been shown to cause serious mental damage and regardless of where you sit on the refugee debate, were talking about mandatory detention of children for an unlimited period of time. Dont vote major parties.
