i just started reading your magazine recently. i usually ignore the magazine section. i stumbled across Open Minds. i have been hooked ever since. i was so surprised to find a magazine such as this. so i go to the register to pay for it. the girl looks at the cover and asks what is it about. i give her a brief description. her eyes get big and she says she believes in UFOs and she was there when the giant triangle flew over phoenix (i live in tucson). i asked her how big it was. she said it was just massive. this was one of the rare occasions i got to hear of such an event from the witness in person. yesterday, i stop by to pick up the latest issue after work. this time it is an older man. he looks at the cover and nods. then he makes a comment about the missing malaysian airplane. he says if anyone knows where that plane is, it will be these people. we go on to talking about the bermuda and devils triangle. he then says that he sailed through the bermuda triangle. his eyes got big and he just states IT WAS WEIRD!. he then says everyone is so distracted, this stuff should be on the news. but everyone cares about JUSTIN BIEBER!. i laugh and tell him it is so bizarre that it happens. look how many magazines there are on that shelf that are about nothing. then i tell him that every time i came to this store to buy this magazine , the clerk brought up something. i tell him it was so weird. people think were crazy when we bring this up. he agreed. we go on to talk about the FEMA camps and the DHS buying up so much ammo. he introduces himself and gives me a firm shake and a stern look. it was a different greeting. it was not a hey how are you nice to meet you, it was more of a im glad to meet another person is who is awake. i wonder if this is a common occurrence among your readers. what i find fascinating is that when i meet others, we share a personal experience with a complete stranger that we have never really uttered to people we have known for years.
