i know it must seem like we all drift apart and really do not see, call or talk to each other as often as we should. But when it comes down to it, i think of just about everyone of you at least a few times a day. Sometimes it makes me happy , sometimes sad. When i think how close we used to be and how it seems now. We all have our own families and lives. But what i really realize is after everything is said and done, as distant or close as we seem to be , were not really that far apart, or different as we might think. We carry eachothers burdens, but we werent meant to carry them all, especially by ourselves. We have all come short in some way , but we were never going to live up to what we sometimes think we should be and it is foolish to think we should not accept those of us who we decide are lesser than us. We are all the least of these in the eyes of God. We sometimes like to think we have more answers than we really do, or act a little tougher than we really are. Or think we have enough reasoning power to know exactly what is going on in eachothers lives . To be able to judge why it is this one or that one might do what they do. But we werent meant to judge with our own understanding. There are 2 things to remember , love each other as we love ourselves , and love God with all our hearts minds and understanding. One without the other is vain and is not effective. It doesnt matter how far we are from eachother in this temporary home. When we are one mind in christ, we are never apart, all working towards the same goal, running the same race. Fighting the good fight of faith and we are never alone. We never have to carry our own burdens, only carry our cross. We are never as far away from eachother as we think we are. My family knows who they are. Lets not judge so harshly our ownselves or each other. I know someone personally who has that covered. Time to get ready. Put away any shame you feel, accept the love and forgiveness you know is here for you. Leave it all behind and join in this new day with your family who loves you. You are loved and you are not alone.
